Posted: March 30, 2011 - 6:53pm  |  Updated: March 31, 2011 - 7:57am

The Glory Hole’s Lunch and Learn series resumes today with “Seaweed and Rocks,” a presentation by Tlingit artist and master carver Richard Beasley.

Beasley will discuss the art work he designed for installation in the shelter, created on-site with Glory Hole patrons, as well as basic concepts of Northwest Coast art.

A seafood chowder, rice and beans, salad, crumpets, and desert will be served. The lunch starts at noon.

A suggested donation of $8 will be appreciated and be used to help with Glory Hole operations.

For more information, contact the Glory Hole at 586-4159 or thegloryhole@gci.net.
