The Juneau Underground Motion Picture Society will host its Summer Film Festival beginning tonight at the Gold Town Nickelodeon Theatre in the Emporium Mall. The festival, held biannually since 2002, showcases short films by local flimmakers, or those with a strong Juneau connection.

JUMP Festival showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is free —— donations are accepted — but tickets are recommended to guarantee your seat. They are available at Lucid Reverie, down the hall from the Gold Town in the Emporium Mall, or call 586-3440 for more information.
