K3 to host Festival of Seafood Saturday

There will be a beer tasting, dinner and dancing at the Juneau Yacht Club starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, all part of the K3 Beer and Seafood Festival.

The beer tasting will begin at 4 p.m. with experts from the Alaskan Brewing Company present to talk about the flavors and techniques used by their brewery. There will also be hors devours from Northern Keta and Taku Smokeries.

At 5 p.m. the all-you-can-eat Festival of Seafood will open, hosted by K3 and Taku Fisheries, with grilled salmon, halibut and Caddy Ganty. There will also be salads from Abby’s Kitchen and baked goods from Silverbow Bakery. Food will be served until 7:30 p.m., and live music for dancing supplied by Sean Tracey and Friends will begin at 7 p.m. and go until 9 p.m.

Tickets to the beer tasting are $10. Tickets for the Festival of Seafood are $25, with children under 12 going for $10. Both are available online or at the door.
