Perseverance Theatre’s Second Stage Season opens this week with the production of “Boundary,” a new play by Alaskan playwright Tom Moran, opening Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Directed by Terry Cramer and featuring a company of all local actors and artists, the play follows Joe Warren, an independent spirit living out in the Alaskan bush in 1972. However, Joe’s independence is in jeopardy: he’s getting older, winter is setting in, and the shadows of his past are catching up with him.
Perseverance Theatre’s Second Stage is an intimate black box space dedicated to Alaskan ideas, artists and audiences.
“Boundary” runs two weekends: Oct. 7, 8, 9 and Oct. 13, 14, 15 and 16. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday performances are at 2 p.m. The tickets are available on a pay-as-you-can basis at the door.
