The Franklin Street gallery at the Baranof Hotel has organized a month-long open studios event, highlighting the workspaces of many local artists. The event began on First Friday, with the opening of a group exhibition at the Franklin Street gallery (on display all month at 127 N. Franklin St.), and continues through the end of the month.
Last weekend’s open studio tours included artists Arnie Weimer, Mostapha Beya, Sarah Conarro, Julie and Kent Crabtree and Dan Fruits. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in the next couple weeks.
