Morally Improv-erished, Juneau’s longest-running improvisational theater group, returns to the stage with its new show, “Greatest Hits and More,” with performances on Thursday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Goldtown Nickelodeon.
“Greatest Hits and More” honors the group’s eight-year existence by bringing back popular improvisational games from its early years as well as showcasing the more theatrical elements that earned the company a performance slot at an improvisational theater festival in Hawaii, and regional praise.
“The past year has been a great one for us. The trip to Hawaii validated what we were doing as artists, which was presenting improvisation as true theater,” said Eric Caldwell, the group’s director, in a press release.
Both shows begin at 9:30 p.m. and are for all-ages. Tickets are available from Hearthside Books, Rainy Retreat, and JAHC. Advance tickets are $8.50 general, $6.50 for students; tickets at the door are $10 general, $8 for students.
