THURSDAY, Thanksgiving Day

Douglas Island Turkey Trot, 9:30 a.m., Sandy Beach. A fun, family friendly run/walk held each Thanksgiving. Route begins and ends at Savikko Park (Sandy Beach shelters); including trails and roads. Entrance fee is two non-perishable food items to donate to the community food bank. Race starts at 10 a.m., registration at 9:30 a.m. Details: 723-4782.
