The upcoming Juneau performance by Washington D.C. comedy troupe Capitol Steps has sold out, according to both the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council website and an employee of JAHC.
However, some seats may come open if tickets go unclaimed the night of the Jan. 26 show, said Tim Zahnd, the office manager at JAHC.
People interested in possibly getting night-of-show tickets are asked to show up at the venue, Centennial Hall, at 6:30 p.m. Any available tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at that time, Zahnd said.
The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. The group started in 1981 and today they’ve quit their day jobs and perform in DC and around the country, making jabs at political figures.
