WorldQuest 2012 scheduled for Feb. 3

The Juneau World Affairs Council will hold their major fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 3, at Centennial Hall: WorldQuest 2012. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:45 p.m.

WorldQuest is a trivia game with an international slant; most of the questions deal with world current events, cultures, foods, geography, and so on. Participants work in teams (tables) and the winning groups win prizes.

The JWAC also serves an International buffet during the event, as well as a silent auction and a dessert auction.

Tickets are $60 ($30 for students) and are available on line at or at the door or from a member of the Juneau World Affairs Council. Funds go to support the group’s free public offerings, including speakers, forums and travelogues.
