Third Mudrooms live storytelling event to be held Feb. 8

The third Mudrooms live storytelling event will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the sanctuary of the Holy Trinity Church.

February’s theme is “For the Love of It.”

The lineup is Dee Longenbaugh, Cecile Elliott, Amanda Krafft, Paul Shapiro, Marc Wheeler. Laury Scandling and Rep. Les Gara.

Mudrooms is based on Anchorage’s Arctic Entries series, and was created in the spirit of PRI’s “This American LIfe.” It features seven-minute personal stories from seven community members on a specific theme.

March’s theme is “Cabin Fever.”

Tickets are $7 at the door, with profits from the show going to a different charity each month.
