First Lady Sandy Parnell has opened the nomination period for the First Lady’s Volunteer of the Year Awards to recognize Alaskans who have performed invaluable volunteer services.
Nominations are due by March 1.
To nominate an Alaskan who deserves recognition for outstanding community service, visit volunteerawards.alaska.gov. Forms are also available at the governor’s offices.
