Local media group Lucid Reverie and the Alaska Humanities Forum are updating and upgrading the Alaska History and Cultural Studies website (www.akhistorycourse.org). The site was developed to help schools meet the state’s credit requirement for Alaska history, and provides teachers and students access to facts and viewpoints about the state.
Teachers who wish to take part in a survey about the website can participate here: docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDhKdU5VZkpvdW12SDJGU05aalB1a1E6MQ.
Those who would like to comment but not take part in the survey can contact Lucid Reverie’s Jamie Karnik at jamie_karnik@yahoo.com.
The website’s organizers also hope to develop a cadre of educators who will provide ongoing feedback as the website is upgraded. Contact Karnik for that, as well.
