Alaska Folk Festival applications due March 2

Thinking of performing in this year’s Alaska Folk Festival? Performer applications are due by 5p.m. Friday, March 2.

Also due by March 2: workshop, caller and dance band applications, as well as volunteer applications.

To view or download one of these forms, visit akfolkfest.org/38/appForms.php. Application forms can be printed and mailed to Alaska Folk Festival, PO Box 21748, Juneau. Alaska, 99802-1748. Also, for the first time, they can be filled out and submitted online.

This year’s Alaska Folk Festival, the 38th annual, is scheduled for April 9-15, at Centennial Hall. The guest artist is the six-man Tennessee Mafia Jug Band.
