This week’s Fireside Lecture at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center will feature photographer Jay Beedle, who will present “Living Off the Grid.” Beedle, who grew up in Juneau, lives on Shelter Island with his family, where they have built a home. Beedle and his daughter, Jayleen, will share their photos and talk about the family’s experiences.
The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m. Friday, March 16.
