This Friday’s Sound & Motion event will be held in conjunction with Perseverance Theatre’s Land Marks festival, as the final event of the theater’s week-long exploration of theater and place. The UAS event begins at 7 p.m. at the Egan Lecture Hall on the UAS Auke Lake campus.
Friday’s event will be a panel presentation on cultural identity and place through theater. Panelists will include theater artists Marcus Gardley, Ishmael Hope, Flordelino Lagundino and Donna Walker-Kuhne, who will discuss the role of theater in sustaining diverse communities and cultures.
The UAS Sound and Motion event is, as always, free of charge.
