Alaska State Museum begins summer hours, new fee schedule

The Alaska State Museum will begin its summer schedule on Sunday, May 13. The museum will be open from 8:30 am to 5:30 p.m. daily, except holidays. Summer hours remain in effect through mid-September.

Also beginning May 13, Alaska State Museum summer admission will increase to $7 with a $1 discount for seniors. Visitors 18 and under are admitted free of charge. An annual pass that allows unlimited visits to the Alaska State Museum and the Sheldon Jackson Museum in Sitka is available for $15. For more information, visit www.museums.state.ak.us.
