• Author Mac Barnett will be at the Downtown Library on June 15 at 1 p.m. in a free program, “A Million Laughs or Your Money Back”

• Summertime Family Night at the Valley Library happens the First Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. and includes a light supper, a special guest, stories and crafts.

June 5: The Stevens Puppets Troupe will perform “The Wizard of Oz”.

• July 3: Create costumes for the parade.

• August 7: Learn about bats (the kind that fly at night.)

• The Roustabout Circus will be back for a show at the Douglas Community Building (library & fire hall) on August 18 at 2 p.m.

• Family Movie Afternoon is the second Sunday of each month, at 3 p.m. at the Douglas Library.
