Deadline approaching for city museum solo artist exhibition applications

The Juneau-Douglas City Museum is currently seeking applications for solo artist exhibitions for the fall 2013/winter 2014 season. The deadline for solo artist exhibit applications is Wednesday, Aug. 15. 

Local artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply. Application forms and information can be found at the city museum or online at

The City Museum typically features solo artists October through April for one month exhibitions in their main temporary gallery, however there are occasional exceptions due to circumstances with the exhibit schedule and/or artists’ availability.
