Univeristy of Alaska Southeast will host an Environmental Film Series every other Thursday evening at the Auke Bay campus, beginning this week. Organized in conjunction with “Environmental Film,” a UAS English class, the screenings are free and open to the public. Here’s a look at the schedule:
Sept. 13: “Wall-E”
Sept. 27: “The Cove”
Oct. 4: “Manufactured Landscapes”
Oct. 18: “Maquilopolis”
Nov. 1: “Gasland”
Nov. 15: “Being Caribou”
Nov. 29: “Red Gold”
All films begin at 5:30 p.m. in Egan 112 on the UAS campus.
