This Saturday at the Gold Room at the Baranof Hotel, a four-course gourmet dinner created by chef Patrick Benvin will be offered with live music by Juneau Symphony chamber musicians and a presentation by music director Kyle Wiley Pickett. Seating is limited.
Chamber musicians will be Lisa Ibias, on violin; Tyree Pini, on cello; and Mary Watson, on piano.
The menu for the evening will include wild salmon fritter with mango chutney, a Gold Room salad, culotte steak with a shallot and port wine reduction and wild salmon with citrus beurre blanc, and New York cheesecake w/ berry compote or chocolate mousse. A vegetarian option is also available.
One glass of house wine is included.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m, and the program begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $75 per person and are available at Hearthside Books, the JACC and online.
