For the third year in a row, Morally Improv-erished has organized the Three Ring Improv show, to be held this Saturday at the Gold Town Nickelodeon. The event will feature Chicago-based performer Amy Roeder, who will take the stage with the cast of Morally Improv-erished in The Armando, a show that intertwines spontaneous monologues and unscripted scenes.
Three Ring Improv kicks off the season for improvisational theater in Juneau, as the city will play host to the Alaska State Improv Festival (AS IF) in April 2013. AS IF will feature improv ensembles from around the country and will mark the first festival of improvisational theater to be held in Alaska.
Three Ring Improv begins at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for students for this all-ages show and are available at Hearthside Books and at the door.
Not Safe for Improv, the improvisational theater group from the University of Alaska Southeast, will open the show.
