5th Annual Hit the JACC Putt open

The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council’s Hit the JACC Putt opened last night, and will be offered through Dec. 30. The event combines an all ages mini golf course with a sculpture garden created by local artists and businesses.

This year’s theme is “Fairytales,” with hole names including “Ugly Ductling,” “Gingerbread Man,” “Hansel & Gretel,” “Rapunzel,” “JACC and the Beanstalk,” “Thumbelina and the Dragon,” “Peter Pan,” and “Ferry Tales.” Designers are Behrends Mechanical, Bing Carillo, Dan Hopson, Nancy DeCherney, Nightmoods, Landscape Alaska, the ACE program, and the Canvas.

The course will be open from noon to 9 this week through Dec. 23. Hours on Christmas Eve are noon to 3 p.m. For a full schedule, visit www.jahc.org.

The cost is $5 per person, per round. A special Putt Party Pass can also be purchased for $50, and includes entry for up to 15 people in one group. Private parties cost $110 an hour.
