This year’s Wearable Art show, Organix, was presented to two sold-out crowds Feb. 9 and 10 at Centennial Hall. More than 30 models took wearable designs down the runway, in materials ranging from plastic bags to aluminium cans to - yes - tampons.
Three winners were named by popular choice late Sunday night. First place went to “The Wild One” by Jenna Smith; second place was “Arranging Jorden” by Teresa Busch; and third place was “Ocean Blue” by Michelle Morris.
