Photographer Ben Huff to present lecture at Alaska State Museum

Juneau photographer Ben Huff will present a public lecture on First Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m. in conjunction with his exhibit on display at the Alaska State Museum,

Huff’s exhibit “The Last Road North” presents a collection of photos taken during five years of travels along the Dalton Highway. The exhibit will be on display through March 16.

Huff’s work has appeared in museums and galleries throughout Alaska, as well as New York, Washington, D.C., and internationally in Cambodia, China and Australia. Currently an adjunct instructor at the University of Alaska Southeast, Huff also exhibited as part of the Alaska Positive 2012 exhibition at the Alaska State Museum this past fall that is now touring the state. “The Last Road North” appears as part of Alaska State Museum’s 2013 Solo Artist Series.

Winter hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Discounted winter admission is $3.
