March Mudrooms to be held March 12

This month’s Mudrooms live storytelling event will take place on Tuesday, March 12, in the Holy Trinity Sanctuary, 4th and Gold Streets downtown. The theme is monsters.

Each Mudrooms event features seven-minute personal stories from seven people on a monthly theme. Founded by Amanda Compton and Alida Bus, Mudrooms was inspired by a similar event in Anchorage called Arctic Entries. It debuted in Juneau in November 2011.

Admission to Mudrooms is $7 cash at the door. One-hundred percent of Season 2 profits will be donated to the Imagination Library.

April’s Mudrooms will focus on Near Death Experiences, and will be held Wednesday, April 3. In May, the theme will be Something Fishy, scheduled for May 7.
