Barn Dance to be held Saturday at St. Ann's

A barn dance will be held this Saturday at St. Ann’s Parish Hall, at 5th and Gold Streets downtown.

Odette Edgar will teach and call contra dances to live music by the Bevels. The band, featuring Sally Donaldson on piano; Kathy Fanning and Nene Wolf on fiddle; Terry Hoskinson on guitar; Wendy Parker on accordion; and Henry Hopkins on banjo, will play a mix of French Canadian and New England tunes. The dance runs from 7:30-11 p.m.

No experience or partners are necessary and all dances are taught.

Admission for adults is $8, AFF and JIF members are $7, seniors and students are $5, and SAGA and JVs are free.
