Sealaska Heritage Institute will sponsor a Native Artist Market in May during the annual Juneau Maritime Festival.
Native artists should apply now for a table at the market, which will be held May 19.
The annual festival is a popular community event that attracts more than 2,000 people. The art market will be located on the Sealaska Plaza terrace, facing the waterfront and the festival activities.

Sealaska Heritage Institute was founded in 1980 to promote cultural diversity and cross-cultural understanding. The institute is governed by a Board of Trustees and guided by a Council of Traditional Scholars. Its mission is to perpetuate and enhance Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian cultures of Southeast Alaska.
