Food Truck Fridays is a new community event that combines the annual Concerts in the Park series with the JAHC’s Sunday markets.
This week, the Mosquito Market, an Alaskan-style flea market, will be back in action as well, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Due to the success of last week’s market, this event will likely continue through the rest of the summer season. The fee for market vendors (“marketeers”) is $5; vendors are welcome as long as there is room. To sign up, visit www.jahc.org.
Food vendors will include BBQ, tacos, hot dogs, cupcakes, Wild Oven bread, fruit sherbet and fry bread.
Food Truck Fridays continues at the JACC every Friday through Aug. 16. There are two performance slots available for the summer, on July 12 and Aug. 2. Musicians, dance groups, storytellers and other performers can sign up online, through www.jahc.org.
