Grantsmanship training program to be offered through JAHC

The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council will host a Grantsmanship Training Program Aug. 12-16, at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center.

Designed for both novice and advanced grantseekers, this intensive, five-day workshop is a hands-on learning experience that covers all aspects of researching grants, writing grant proposals and negotiating with funding sources.

Participants will also learn the Grantsmanship Center’s proposal writing format, the most widely used such format in the world, and work with a team to prepare an actual proposal for funding.

Tuition for this training program is $895. A limited number of half-tuition scholarships are available for organizations with annual budgets of less than $500,000.

Enrollment is limited to 30 participants.

To register, or to apply for a scholarship, call The Grantsmanship Center directly at (800) 421-9512 or (213) 482-9860. Or enroll online at
