JDHS Theater to perform "Pippin" one more time before Fringe

The Juneau Douglas High School Theater Department will offer locals one more opportunity to see their production of “Pippin” before the cast heads to Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of the American High School Theatre Festival. JDHS was one of the 45 high school theater programs in the country to be selected from more than 2,200 nominations the AHSTF received.

The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the JDHS auditorium. The show will be a “pay as you can” at the door performance and will run 90 minutes without intermission.

All proceeds from the show will go toward funding the 2013/2014 JDHS Theater Department fall season. JDHS Theater is a self-funded program.
