Bellingham band to play Rockwell Saturday

Rattletrap Ruckus, a four piece band from Bellingham, Wash., will be playing at Rockwell Saturday night. The band, which features Lucas Hicks of the popular Bellingham band Gallus Brothers, plays a wide range of music including fiddle tunes, ragtime, tango, paso dobles, waltz, klezmer, polkas and more.

In addition to Hicks, the band features Clea Taylor on cello, Jenny Rose on washtub bass and Casey Connor on banjo.

In a recent interview with Bellingham’s “What’s Up” magazine, Hicks said he started Rattletrap Ruckus in 2011 as a vehicle for his accordion playing, a passion he’s been developing for the past 10 years.

The band recently released their first album “Redlight Rag;” to listen, visit
