Two-day introduction to power tools course offered in Ketchikan

Woodworker and furniture creator Beth Antonsen will lead an "Introduction to Power Tools" course in Ketchikan Oct. 7-9.

Ketchikan’s Totem Heritage Center will offer an Introduction to Power Tools course Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 7-9, from 6-9 p.m. in Ketchikan.

Woodworker and furniture creator Beth Antonsen will teach students the safe and proper use of a variety of power tools while they make a traditional Northwest Coast-style cedar dance paddle, which can be used for introductory design or carving classes. This course is a prerequisite for all carving classes at the Totem Heritage Center.
