Author talk with Ernestine Hayes, 5:30-7 p.m., Downtown Public Library. Local author and professor Ernestine Hayes will discuss her upcoming book, “Juneau: Images of America,” and other published writing. Free and open to all ages, sponsored by the Friends of the Juneau Public Library.

Book signing with Erin McKittrick, 7 p.m., Centennial Hall. Seldovia-based writer Erin McKittrick will be signing her new book, “Small Feet, Big Land: Adventure, Home and Family on the Edge of Alaska.” In addiition, Greg Chaney will show part of his film, “A Life on Ice.”
