Juneau’s Alaska Robotics has just released a new music video for Alaskan artist Marian Call’s song “Good Morning Moon.”
The video features footage of Call shot by Arjan Kroonen in the Netherlands at Space Expo Noordwijk, which she visited on her recent European tour, as well as high-resolution time-lapse photography from the International Space Station and NASA archive footage.
The video was produced by Pat Race at Alaska Robotics in Juneau. Watch it here: youtu.be/ab2_7WQzulA.
“Good Morning Moon” is a track from Call’s third album, “Something Fierce,” released in October 2011. “Something Fierce” and her most recent release, “Marian Call: Live in Europe,” were both fan-funded projects organized through Kickstarter and other programs. Call, who grew up in Gig Harbor, Wash., moved to Juneau from Anchorage last year, but spends much of her time on the road -- she’s performed concerts in all 50 states and in Germany and London, among many other places.
This past summer she was named one of Paste Magazine’s “Nine Alaska Acts You Should Listen To Now,” along with Meg Mackey and Matt Hopper.
