A Juneau Cabaret performance will be held Sunday, Nov. 17, upstairs at Rockwell beginning at 7 p.m. Rockwell is located in the Old Elks Hall, 109 South Franklin St. Admission is pay-as-you-can.
Juneau Cabaret, formed in 2009, provides performance opportunities for local singers and accompanists in a relaxed setting. Vocalists range from students to semi-professionals, and songs include jazz standards, musical theater songs, and some pop tunes.
For this performance, vocalists will be Jack Brandt, Cameron Brockett, Sara Radke Brown, Cindee Brown-Mills, Beatrice Caujolle, John Clough, Callie Conerton, John Haywood, Mimi Herrmann, Apryle McVey, Bobbi Mitchell, Mike Pearson, Lynda Stover and Margaret Vrolyk. Accompanists will be pianists Beverly Haywood, Robert Cohen, Janis Capelle, Jacque Farnsworth, Tom Locher, Doug Smith and drummer David Sheakley
Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase; audience members under 21 must sit in a specified alcohol-free area or be accompanied by a parent.
