State Museum to host Native storytelling and action figure event

The Alaska State Museum will host a free kids activity on Nov. 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event combines Native stories, told by local storyteller Ishmael Hope, and the opportunity to make Native-themed action figures.

This activity, put on by the Friends of the Alaska State Museum and partly funded by the City and Borough of Juneau, is for kids in grades K-5. Preregister by calling 465-2901 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
