JAHC kicks off 6th annual "Hit the JACC Putt" mini golf event

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council’s popular “Hit the JACC Putt” event begins next Wednesday, Dec. 18 and continues through Dec. 30.


The two-week event, which combines elements of a mini golf course with an original sculpture garden, has been organized this year around the theme of movies. Holes include “Wizard of Oz” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” among many others.

Designers this year include by Behrends Mechanical, Bing Carillo, Dan Hopson, Nancy DeCherney, Nightmoods and the ACE program.

The schedule is as follows: Dec 18 through 23, 12–9 p.m.; Dec 24, 12–3 p.m.; Dec 26 through 29, 12–9 p.m.; and Dec 30, 12–3 p.m.

Admission fees are $5 per person perround. A $50 “Putt Party Pass” is also available with a “Party Bunker” for up to 15 people in one group, and private parties are $110/hour, with discounts available for social service organizations.
