The latest issue of Cirque: A Literary Journal for Alaska and the Pacific Northwest is now available. The Winter Solstice Issue can be purchased in hard copy or viewed online at www.cirquejournal.com.
This issue includes an interview with Eva Saulitis, poetry by Tom Sexton and Vivian Faith Prescott, fiction, nonfiction, plays, and book reviews, as well as photography.
Cirque, based in Anchorage, is published twice a year, on winter and summer solstice. Edited by Sandra Klevin and Mike Burwell, this regional literary journal publishes the work of emerging and established writers living in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Yukon Territory, Alberta, British Columbia and Chukotka).
Submissions for the Summer Solstice issue will be accepted through March 21. Writers may submit short stories, poems, creative nonfiction, translations, plays, reviews of first books, interviews, photographs, and artwork. Submit work to email@example.com.
