The Juneau Symphony will present their spring concert on April 5 and 6 at the Juneau Douglas High School Auditorium. Kyle Wiley Pickett and symphony musicians will present Mozart’s “Requiem” in a performance featuring the Juneau Symphony Chorus and the Juneau Bach Society.
Soloists will be Sara Radke Brown, (soprano), Betany Coffland (mezzo-soprano), Dan Wayne (tenor) and Philippe Damerval (bass-baritone). Concertmaster Lisa Ibias will also present Dvorak’s “Romance” for violin and orchestra. The third piece on the program is contemporary composer Dan Pinkston’s 2nd Symphony.
Performances will be on Saturday, April 5, at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m.
A Concert Conversation with Kyle Wiley Pickett will be held one hour before each performance.
