The Anchorage Museum is accepting submissions for “All Alaska Juried XXXV” and project proposals for solo art exhibitions through July 1.

“All Alaska Juried XXXV” is a popular, biennial art exhibition established more than 30 years ago to encourage Alaska artists to create new works. This year’s juror is Portland Art Museum curator Bonnie Laing-Malcolmson. The winner of the Best of Show Award receives a $1,000 prize.

“All Alaska Juried XXXV” opens Nov. 7 and will be on view through Feb. 1, 2015 at the Anchorage Museum. The exhibition will then tour the state for one year, including to The Bear Gallery in Fairbanks.

The Anchorage Museum’s Patricia B. Wolf Solo Exhibition Series highlights new bodies of work by individual Alaska artists. Once every three years, Alaska artists are invited to submit applications to a selection committee comprised of museum staff and art professionals. These solo art exhibitions will be scheduled starting in 2016.
