Trout Unlimited to host International Fly Fishing Film Festival April 16

Trout Unlimited’s Juneau Chapter #581 will host the annual International Fly Fishing Film Festival at the Gold Town Nickelodeon on Wednesday, April 16.


The International Fly Fishing Film Festival consists of short and feature-length films produced by filmmakers from all corners of the globe, showcasing the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly-fishing.

Feature films in this year’s festival include “Unbroken,” by Camille Egdorf; “Stream Fishing Addiction,” by H20 Media; “Landed,” a festival original; “Mending the Line,” by Uncage the Soul Productions; and “Destination Spain: Director’s Cut,” by Vantage Point Media House.

This year’s shorts include “Swing North” by Burl Productions, “Arctic Silver” by Kokkaffe Media, “Change of Pace” by SOS Fly Fishing and many more titles.

The film festival will include a raffle for fishing gear and other items. All proceeds go towards fishing- and conservation-related events hosted by Trout Unlimited Juneau Chapter #581.

Tickets are $15 plus tax and are available at Alaska Fly Fishing Goods.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the films begin at 6:30 p.m.
