The Juneau Economic Development Council’s Innovation Summit will be held in Juneau Feb. 8-9 at Centennial Hall. Karen Pittman, president and CEO of the Forum for Youth Investment, and respected sociologist and leader in youth development, will be a keynote speaker. She will discuss collective impact and how different sectors in our community can come together to address social challenges.
More than 30 short presentations will be offered at the summit, including talks by Keith Cox from Seafood Analytics, Kirk Hardcastle from Taku River Reds, Mindy Anderson from Salty Pantry, Alana Peterson from Haa Aani, Heather and Reid Harris from Northern Edge Craftworks, Bob Janes from Gastineau Guiding, and John Neary from Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.
