On a beautiful clear cold day, six members of the Juneau Gun Club participated in the second Saturday of the month registered trap shoot event. This month’s event was a Pacific International Trap Association event with Amateur Trap Association cross over scores permitted. The temperatures ranged between 25 and 29 degrees with a bright sunny sky. That bright sunny sky continued through the shoot, but as the sun settled in, the shadows that were cast from our club’s surrounding spruce-hemlock forest played havoc with the shooters seeing the target birds. The scores so reflected.
