A 29-year-old Haines resident was indicted by a Juneau grand jury Friday for weapons misconduct.
The indictment charges Robert Edward Hull with third-degree weapons misconduct for an offense on Dec. 24.
Hull is accused of knowingly living in a home in Haines that had a concealable firearm in it. Since he has a prior felony conviction, that is prohibited under state statutes unless written authorization is given by the courts or law enforcement.
Third-degree weapons misconduct is a class ‘C’ felony that can be punishable by up to five years in prison.
