Man accused of failing to pay child support
A Juneau grand jury has indicted a 50-year-old man for failing to pay child support for the past year and a half.
Travis J. Lewis was charged with four felony counts of noncriminal support for failing to provide monetary support since December 2012, according to the indictment. The indictment alleges he owes more than $5,000 to his 12-year-old child.
The documents states Lewis has previously been convicted of criminal nonsupport. That’s a class ‘C’ felony that can carry up to five years in prison.
