The Juneau Planning Commission has approved phase two of the Statter Harbor Master Plan.
In a meeting Tuesday night, the commission reversed a decision it had initially shot down.
“We’re pleased with the outcome of the Planning Commission’s decision,” said Carl Uchytil, CBJ Port Director. “The project, as conceived, will benefit the community of Juneau for decades to come.”
There was opposition; Commissioner Nicole Grewe voted against the Master Plan.
Grewe refused comment for this article.
