It is called “Doogie Style.”
That is when you play with no errors, play straight up, play like you have mastered that particular position because you pay attention, and play with a love for the sport of softball.
That is what the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears say when a player can perform the duties of any nine positions on the softball diamond.
And on Thursday night against the Palmer Moose, the namesake of that honor, senior Rachel Doogan, did just that.
