The Thunder Mountain High School girl's basketball team continues to give head coach Tanya Nizich grey hairs as they fell for the third straight night in Fairbanks by nine points or less, this time to a strong West Valley Wolfpack team 49-48.
The Falcons (7-14 overall, 1-5 southeast conference) got a game-high 18 points from sophomore Ashley Young, 11 points apiece from senior Jonelle Staveland and junior Micheala Demmert, five points from freshman Ava Tompkins, and three from senior Eyerus Tingley.
TMHS hit 6-11 at the charity stripe and West Valley went 10-12.
