Whether they played for 45 seconds, a quarter, most of the game or hadn’t played in a few weeks, the Sitka Wolves had enough depth to hold off their bridge-crossing rivals from Mt. Edgecumbe 43-42 in the Region V basketball tournament on Thursday.
“Our depth was key,” Sitka coach Andy Lee said. “Guys came in and did a really fine job. The quality of their play, across the board, makes a difference.”
