Isn’t it funny that we don’t complain about injustices until they affect us.
I am currently working on a cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed hiking up Eaglecrest.
The cartoon is crude to date.
I am not a cartoonist.
I am a photojournalist.
And, it seems, for the past five years I have been a law-breaking photojournalist.
You see, until Sunday, when I was asked “where are your skis?” by one of Eaglecrest’s Juneau Ski Patrol members, I assumed it was my mountain and I could hike about it like a little kid in the snow for the first time.
