Juneau’s Joe Deluna greased the pin deck last October in what every lane stalker dreams of — a perfect 300 score.
“That is actually my third ever,” Deluna said. “My first one of this season though.”
The perfect score happened at at Taku Lanes.
Deluna’s other gems were in 2012, one after his birthday on Nov. 23, and the other during that year’s Master’s Tournament.
Deluna rolled 12 flawless balls. He was comfortable through a Turkey (three strikes in a row), Ham Bone (four strikes) and the 5 Bagger (five strikes, also called Yahtzee or Dropping the Nickel).
